Despicable Me

Year Released: 2010/11
Main Stars: Dunno. Jim Carrell?
Last watched: March 2011
Number Watches: 1

Watched this on Movies On Demand from Virgin Media. Chose this one as the wife was a bit quiet and moody so thought this might be fun enough. Other option had been Shutter Island and The A Team, neither of which caused any part of her face to shift so by the time we got to this one I figured I had the right to choose based on my husbandry duties.

I was surprised. It’s a film full of quirky nice ness and funny little bits and pieces. No plot, just a laugh, and the animation was simple enough to work really well. Especially the kids. I thought the dog might have been given more time but the brash evil gestures as well as the minions made it all good fun.

It’s not Toy Story or The Incredibles but it’s got a wee charm and humour that will make you chuckle as long as you don’t want much of it.

Keep DVD?
Yes. Don’t know if there would be many extras but it’s a good one to watch again sometime.
Watch if on TV?
Yes
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Snog.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
