So much promise. So weird. Fantasy, reality, all spooky set up.

And then the first hour is tedium. Boring, slow and dull. Some fantastic shadows and shit and dusty sets with a lot of nice angles in the camera work but the script is slow and depressing.

The voice over in the steam punk world is American puke.

The mystery side of it takes a hold about an hour in and that’s where it starts to be more interesting. Who is really in the fantasy world?

But its very religious, attempting to have a go at all religions but in the end too pretentious to be interesting. Feels like a high budget student film.

Not for me and too much work needed just to watch, so can’t recommend it.

Keep DVD?
No.
Watch if on TV?
No.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
