The Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Year Released: 2009
Main Stars: Dennis Quaid, a girl from Crouching Tiger.
Last watched: April 2011
Number Watches: No

Didn’t see the first 15 mins. Came in when Dennis and kids were in a church.

Pace was a bit slow and didn’t initially get Dennis in this role although I warmed to him later. The acting is a bit clichéd so was going to turn it off but persevered although didn’t get any reward for doing so. Plot is very thin but I bet reading the script felt like it could be a gritty, reality hits the screen type. Actually, there’s a lot of sudden switches, jumping too quickly. Seems we are expected to ‘feel’ the characters the same way the director does.

Nah, doesn’t do it for me. In the end I felt I had to put too much in to this to get anywhere. Even the end play wasn’t thrilling or surprising.

Question: why does Dennis have keys to a theatre?

Keep DVD?
Nope.
Watch if on TV?
Nope.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Avoid.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
