Hell Boy

Hell boy has a bag of promise from the start and as a comic / monster movie there is nothing missing. Big monsters, small monsters, government secrets and lost locations.

Delivery of the promise is done with a massive amount of special effects that are all very cohesive and plot driven. I like stories with olde worlde rooms, libraries, studies, loads of books on different levels. This has that and I like it. This is just one of many things that make this a well done movie. But the plot falls short of the promise. Not everyone is as big as I want them to be. Powers are there but they seem to be unrealised. Do I want more than Hollywood is willing to give or am I misinterpreting the missing detail?

Anyway, worth watching a couple of times for that big lug, Hell boy himself.

Keep DVD?
Think so, it’s fun to watch a monster movie sometimes.
Watch if on TV?
If a group wanted to watch it I would too. Don’t know I’d miss something else on tv for it though.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Snog with tongues.
