Once Angelina appears we have one of the most fun opening sequences I’ve seen to date. Taken it as it is, this has fun and freakyness. There was a comic this was based on and in many ways it shows – the bullet duel, standing on trains, etc.
Script is not needed as it’s all about the action and there’s plenty of it, right down to the rats. Acting is also not needed but James does a good job of establishing himself as something other than a romantic lead so well done to him there. No overly girl/boy bits either showing that the ‘how to get a hit movie’ formula hasn’t been over used.
The ending is also that of a comic and left me feeling I wasnt cheated out of anything. Sometimes it not necessary to predict how things go.
Yes, I liked Wanted.
BTW: don’t give me that ‘graphic novel’ crap. Stick that up your pretentions and spin on it. It’s a comic.
Yes, I think I could watch this again. Not sure if it would stay in the collection after the second watch though.
Watchi if on TV?
No, dont think so.
