Case 39

Year Released: 2009
Main Stars: Rene Zellweger, Ian McShane
Last watched: 2010
Number Watches: 1

Rene Zellweger = Horror ? Perhaps horrible movies, or horror acting but you dont think the next Poltergeist.

However this isnt too bad. Ok, Rene still has a problem opening her eyes and is a little unbelievable when she’s trying to be shocked but overal the not-greatness of this show still leaves it with an endearing quality that made me warm to it, eventually.

Ian is Ian McShane. I dont think he’s found his niche yet in Hollywood and here he is just himself – rough, wise, dependable but does-it-his-way.

The rest of the cast are ok and their slim depth is acceptable as there are really only two characters that matter, Rene and the girl.

Predictable, not always as scary as you want and certainly looks low budget. Maybe that’s why I’m ok with it, the lack of expectations to be met. Anyway, it wiles away an evening. Watch it once if you want, you’re not missing anything if you dont.

DVD extras were ok but a bit serious. Not enough to keep.

Keep DVD?
No.
Watch if on TV?
No. One watch is enough.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Avoid but only just
