“Moy moy?”

What a great line! You’ll have to see it to get it but it’s a good line. And the film is a cracker. No, really, this is a fun and well computerised event. Kenneth Branananaagh directs although you wouldnt immediately think it but perhaps his well trained hands on this are the reason there are no real ‘saggy’ patches, those bits you can ignore and arent as good.

Everything except the Thor-ness is subtle and played nicely. The “I AM THOR” bits are sooooo good. I’m seriously into girls but I may just have found the man of my dreams. Big monsters, lots of well blended computer stuff and a whole unspoken history that the plot and characters ride on.

Good film.  But wait! There’s more. We saw this on the big screen in 3D and it rocks. REALLY expensive though.

UPDATE:
Yes, still a good film although I no longer want to have Chris’s babies. This time saw it on Bluray and noticed that it was a little more slow than I’d first though. Not as much action, not as much clarity on the Asgard side, perhaps more about relationships than the action. Still watchable and wonderful as Chris and Tom are really good choices and bring the gods to life. Obviously, this one is nailed to the stars by Anthony and that theatre acting that works so powerfully.

BluRay Extras: Some enjoyable features that bring the production and plot together and make you want to watch it all again. A few extra scenes that give a bit of an incite into why they would have given a different mood but it’s the features that are worth seeing. Chris and Kenneth as well as the other crew members give a lot of background to the filming and build up. No gag reel but I didn’t really mind, which is not like me at all.

Keep DVD?
Yes. I’d love to see what extras there are for the DVD.
Watch if on TV?
Yes
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Snog but in a comparing muscles sort of way. That didnt sound right.
