I liked the first film. I remember liking it a second time some years after the first watch. I like this one too.

Jeff is superbly grumpy and drunk, it’s as if he’s ready for this role. Matt does a great performance as the straight guy who’s also square in the most intense way too. But there’s only one person who should have won the oscar. The girl – I’ve just looked up her name – Hailee. Abso-bloomin-lutely fantastic. You could cut out the rest of the film and just watch her part. She’s that good. The script and direction have to be thanked as well but she has a powerful career ahead of her.

Production was fabulous and you feel as if this is the real west with only one exception, the ending. It’s just, I mean, it’s so…. WHY?? Why did they ruin it by putting such a pile of crap at the end? I won’t give it away but just to say that effects were not needed… you’ll see what I mean.

Anyway, dont let that put you off, it’s still a brilliant film.

Keep DVD?
Yes. Well worth watching again and I don’t even know yet what’s on the extras
Watch if on TV?
Yes.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Marry. Defo. But when the marraige ends it will go badly…
