More of the same. Lara Croft, posh totty, tough cookie, bit of hot stuff. Angelina looks good. You can imagine manipulating her in the game.

It’s really James Bond as a girl and with a little less focus on the spying. Works well enough. No awards for the plot and certainly nothing for realism so what’s left for Lara and Angelina? Effects. That’s what this is all about. Making us see the fantasy world of the Tomb Raider with a little gloss on top.

And that’s all you get. Let’s face it, you didn’t expect anything else, did you? Lara’s push-up bra was always going to be the highlight for any Tomb Raider film.

I’m glad they didn’t make another. It’s all very repetitive.

Keep DVD?
No.
Watch if on TV?
Not any more. I’ve had my fill.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Always worth trying to find the cradle of life but ultimately, nah. Avoid.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
