“I am Optimus Prime and I send this message so that our pasts can always be remembered.”

I don’t get what everyone was going on about when they said this was the crap one. It felt the same as the first one.

I suppose there were differences. This one had the viewer drowning in metallic fights and smashing stone buildings so much so that by the end of the first hour I was numbed to it and actually wanted some kind of dialogue. When the talking did happen it was about shouting at each other and pretending to have a cohesive character structure.

Acting? Yeah, right. Direction? Didn’t come into it. Camera work? Shaky. Lighting? Sets? Sorry, this isnt that kind of film. There will be no master class on how they made Transformers 2.

Was it bad? Yeah, and forgettable. Was it worse than the first? Perhaps a bit. The continued fighting was the most off putting bit.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
