I liked the first one then I saw it again and it wasn’t very good. This one is rubbish compared to it. However, taken on its own it’s actually very good, in a kiddies film sort of way.

Johnny and all the others are great with maybe the exception of James Fox who doesn’t fit right here. The old folk are brilliant. British old actors generally are and it’s gratifying to see their involvement in what is really a movie about odd characters. Not many countries do character like the Brits.

Deep is everywhere and when you look at what he had to do you realise that he must have been on anti-sleep pills or something!

Story is thrown away since there isnt much of one. Instead the effects take over and there’s tons of them. Enough to excite for years to come, I should cocoa.

Worth watching. I should have left it at one viewing but I’ve got caught twice more. Never again. No. Not ever. Probably. Unless it’s a slow tv evening….
