“Blood brothers”

One of the kids looks like an Freddie Highmore from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the other looks like River Pheonix from Stand By Me. Both do a good job of being confident in front of the camera and work well together but are let down by the lack of content to the high-jinx everyone is playing.

Parents will like this one and people of the eighties. Also there is a fair look-a-like factor to those Gregory’s Girl type pictures that have a quirky school kid look on the world.

Unfortunately it doesn’t get to the point a lot of the time and my preference is to blame the director for not speeding up the reactions of the actors, either when filming or in edit. You can see that this could have been a good un but there are too many slow points to make me want to switch on again for it.

The end part is a good bit but that lasts for maybe the final ten minutes and by that time it was too late.

Keep DVD?

No. Has extras of amateur films and an interview with Jessica but the best parts are the interviews that include Will and Bill.

Watch if on TV?

No.

Snog, Marry, Avoid?

Avoid.
