“cut down this tree with one blow”

“always have a contingency plan”

A bit of fun, really. How could it be anything else with that title?? And, yes, I liked it. In fact, so did the wife and she really isn’t into this kind of comic-book action.

Seth is someone that I look at and think I’ve seen him before although I haven’t. Most of the cast are the same but this shouldn’t detract from what is a good adventure and a little smattering of historic playfulness. No revelations and no great substance but the action and characters are all good looking enough to keep the tale bouncing along.

Shame it couldn’t have a follow up… unless….? Buddha: Vampire Slayer? Elvis: Vampire Burger Eater?  Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter? Hang on, that last one’s been done. Hmm.

Update 29/10/2016: Specifically taped as saw was on TV and it’s still much the same  – a bit of fun. Seth still look like Liam Neeson. Rufus is Mr Evil and Mary is really, really good looking. So, yeah, a bit of an empty affair of a film but still enjoyable.
