What can they do with another Shrek? Well, not much. Try to capture some of the mayhem from when the characters first met each other? That’s what they’ve tried here and it kinda works but also doesn’t.
There’s humour and some slapstick moments that work well, but overalit’s not one I’d bother with if choosing a film to cheer me up. There are very few characters bouncing around in this one and the story seems tied too much to the others that have gone before to allow much leeway.
Worth a watch once but you won’t go back to it.
Watch if on TV?
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Avoid. Might seem harsh but there are better films to watch.
