Great movie. Some peeps think it’s too complicated with lots of confusing names and stuff. WTF! It’s the mother and father of all spy thrillers! Get real!

I vaguely remember the TV series with Ben Kenobi, ah, I mean Alec Guiness. Gary does a very good Alec impression and the quiet, old man act nearly works although Gary is certainly not as old.

Locations are perfectly grey, tatty and spy-like so the intelligent script is the colour on the canvas and it’s powerful stuff.

Neat, well made and not pretentious. Good stuff.

DVD Extras: Boring interview with John Le Carre. Other boring stuff.

Keep DVD?

Watch if on TV?

Snog, Marry, Avoid?
You will know this from the hidden microphone but it’s marriage for me, sir.
