A talking bear? Ok, I’ll go with it. Mark Wahlberg actually being funny? Yep, got that too. A whole film based on these two premises? Hmm. Perhaps a little too far.

So TED is a talking, animated bear that really, truely exists. This is, clearly, a fact and one that you get to accept almost immediately. He fits in, has been accepted by society with out so much as a lab coat and a scalpel. What’s next? Erm, not much. Time has moved on and the bear is rough. What happens is just a window into how rough.

Funny for the most part but not raise-the-roof hilarious.

I never had a teddy bear as a kid. I had a strange blue elephant I won at a tombola. Also a yellow bunny nighty holder. I grew up quick.

DVD Extras: I got the cheapo version with nothing.

Keep DVD?
No.

Watch if on TV?
Some of it but doubt I’d stick to the end. Maybe just the bits with Mila.

Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Kinda want to say avoid but also want to hug the bits that work. Ok, snog the fluffy.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
