“Punk”

“You have ten seconds to comply”

It’s so naff and made-for-tv but it’s also so iconic. The music, the idea of a human-robot hybrid and, of course, it kinda smacks of Judge Dredd.
Who can forget Ed209 and his/her squealing on the stairs? Heart-breakingly funny.

Good fun and keeps going with only a few stops for boring sentimentality. The effects are not great, the suit looks so dated, the acting is very nearly dreadful but for some reason we absolutely need Robocop to survive in our collective memories.

Keep DVD?

Um…no.
Watch if on TV?
Sometimes…? Probably if I happened upon it like this time.
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Snog. “One way or another, you’re coming with me.” Who can resist?

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
