The Bourne Legacy

Year Released: 2012
Main Stars: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz
Last watched: May 2015
Review Date: May 2015
Number Watches: 1
Format Watched: BluRay

Bit samey, bit not-much-happening, bit no-point like. On the plus side it’s all well done, there are a few key scenes that stand out and the direction is good too.

Just no plot, no characterisation, no… point. Feels like someone couldn’t let go of this franchise but also didn’t have any new ideas, certainly none with much tension.

Actors do loads of acting but it’s all about Jeremy, not a lot else. If you feel like you want an action movie, this isn’t it. If you feel like you want a thriller, this isn’t it. If you want to watch another Bourne movie, this might be enough but I’d press you to get a look at the extras as the film isn’t enough.

Extras: A lot of behind the scenes with a few key scenes being examined and a lot on the actors and action. No gag reel as such but a lot of humour in the interviews. Shows that there was tons of work put into the film.
