“Party On, Garth”

“bats fly out my butt”

Icons come and go but youth culture traps the best of the best. Wayne’s World is so silly, small and yet has had massive bearing on the ‘cool’ way to talk even over two decades later. Svinktersayswot?

From the Bohemian Rhapsody sketch to the weird endings, you NEED to see this just to have seen one of the two film that have defined the real underculture for all dudes and duddettes since the 1990s. Wayne’s World and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

Acting – hmmm. Does that really apply here? Production, camera work, that kinda stuff? S’ok, and again not relevant. Script and plot? Shyeah, right!

Fun? Party? Stupid stuff? Absolutely! Excellent!

It’s not a small budget but it’s not a big showy piece of put of nonsense, this is an inspired gag-laden romp for the whole family but mostly for kids and big kids.

Keep DVD?

Watch if on TV?
Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Marry for the cool of it – as if! NOT! Yeah, but I actually would.
