Such a shame. Agyness does a very good accent (surprised nobody picked her up on pronouncing some of the obvious words) but she isn’t strong enough to be the main character. Actors are all very good actually and it’s a pity that they’re trapped in a badly thought out movie.

The sets are sparse, which is right, and there are a lot of quiet moments showing the simple life but it’s as if these moments are the only thing the director is wanting to do. The sum of the parts is too slow, too limited and doesn’t show the horrible passage of time and the effects on everyone that are so obviously meant to get out.

A poor attempt. Very small budget but without the enthusiasm for film making that should go with it.
