Not more than a Twilight Zone style collection of stories but there is some charm to it. William is superbly cast and Zoe is a new face but one that stands out. Certainly the section she was in was one of the two that was well directed and definitely the scariest. The obvious difference in production for the stories was that two were really, really slow and felt like completely missed opportunities whilst another was just a dull story, unrealised and ultimately a one-liner.

I don’t think there will be many more sequels that do anything but go to network channels but perhaps this is the start of an anti-nice feeling at the ‘holiday’ season. A bit more fun and scares would be welcome at that time of year but also a bit better made or thought out.

Watch it for William and the occasional not-too-scary scare.

DVD Extras: Quite a lot of behind the scenes in the Behind The Scenes feature but absolutely nothing else.

Keep DVD?
No.

Watch if on TV?
Yes if on at Christmas and especially with a bunch of people. Only once though.

Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Hug with a Krampus spirit.
