Starts off empty then gets more entrenched in being some sort of flag bearer for the psychological horrors of war. Ends up being just a bit boring.
There is scoff, defy to that, I mean it’s totally sci-fi city with monsters that are not only believable but you also want to meet one or two, albeit it from a distance with a telescope. The effects are undoubtably good. The script is rubbish and the concept seems to have gone off on a poncey ride up where the sun don’t shine. Too much has been bitten off here and the result is a very fx intensive amateur movie. Shame because you can see the main guys are really going for the little they can.
Not worth seeing cause you’ll just be bored. Should have let someone with some experience script it and the marriage of production and plot could have been less…monsterous(!)
Avoid, not even one viewing.
Dvd extras: Good making of, on location, make-up of the effects. Actually very good background and insight to the actors.
Watchability (once, twice, etc.)
Watch if on TV?

Avoid unless you’re in the business of special effects
