From the box and anything you read about it, this is your Creepy Outback horror. Takes a long time to get to that though. A lot of set up that doesn’t seem particularly useful and ends up being a waste of time. The only explanation is that this is a small budget, first time attempt, almost student style. Shouldn’t make a difference to whether it’s a good film though so let’s crack on…

Only good actor is the bad guy although he doesn’t have a lot to do. It’s not about the acting though as its all about the oddity and setting so what about that? Well, not that odd although maybe hits home in Oz. I saw too many ‘already done it better’ moments taken from other films. Maybe a bit dated now so anyway, not a bad movie but has a lot of plot issues and certainly tons of “why did she do that??” moments.

Very small budget look and feel, script needed a lot of work however the bad guy is a very nicely done creep who has a great future!

Bit of fun but don’t expect big scares or nightmares after watching.

DVD Extras: None. Shame!

Watchability (once, twice, etc.)
Once.
Keep DVD?
No.
Watch if on TV?
Maybe. Since I watched it, I’ve grown to think fondly of the DVD like a strange man stalking a bunch of kids in the Australian outback might think about his prey…..
Hug, Snog, Marry, Avoid?
Hug. But have a knife in your hand and an exit strategy. You never know what could happen…..
