So it’s not that there’s any lack of special effects or that the plot is particularly bad it’s just that, well, it’s all a bit boring.

Johnny is sullen (no surprise I guess) and Morgan only appears to be surprised the whole time. Rebecca is the best bit but even there she only has a reactions as a side-kick. Paul is the best part over and above the effects. He shows a lot better straight faced acting than usual and delivers lines with a lot of confidence.

Why is this so boring? I guess it goes too far for me. I like my scifi to have a lot more logic and this takes a big jump into a slow cooker with a lot of plot points taken for granted rather than explained. (with all the town shenanigans, no one questions anything!!)

Seen a lot better.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
