“Dragons!”

Number two in the films and starts with a straight forward catch up of the first one where Dragons get got. Unfortunately that was the fun part of the first one so I think there’s missing humour here. I mean it’s fun and all but not cute so has to work a bit harder.

Graphically wonderful and both dragons and people are very well animated, colourful and believable in a strange fantasy manner. The one thing that sticks out for me is Cat Blanchett’s awful accent – Irish? New Castle? Scottish? Canadian? who knows! – dreadful, Cate, truly dreadful.

Plot and script is also good so overall good fun and defo a nice one for the entire family to enjoy, just not exceptional.

About Simon Trail

There has long been a tradition that a knight will show a crest and / or motto of his family. I shall endeavour to provide such a distinguishing and immediately descriptive thingy over my management of this site. Please be patient. Or Doctor if you're David Tennent.
